About Mirva Inkeri:
Mirva healed a painful hamstring issue through Soul Dance and discovered the amazing, gentle healing power and ingenuity of Soul Dance. Contemporary, classical and jazz ballet and more traditional Finnish women’s gymnastics have been the styles of dance of choice for Mirva, however, she builds on her repertoire with Contact Improv and more recently especially through partner-based dancing. Group solo dancing at international events, competitions and performances were a big part of traditional dancing in Europe. The certification as Tao Dance Master Teacher has opened the doors of exploration of free style dancing that are ever-evolving. Mirva is passionate about guiding others through the journey of discovering their own Soul Dance and the freedom, joy and happiness that can be revealed and released through it. She started teaching dance from the age of 16 with children aged 4-6 years old. The imaginary world and the limitless expression with children were a regular source of wonderment. Breathwork, somatic bodywork, yoga and deep relaxation are the reason for Mirva’s passion for movement, expression and exploration of life through the body.
