Avninder Sangha-Colwell
Avninder Sangha-Colwell is a Licensed Tao Calligraphy Field Level 1 Master Teacher and Practitioner trained at the Tao Academy by Master Sha and is the owner of Tao Happiness Joy, a spiritual counselling business in Ontario serving Brampton, Barrie, Alliston, Collingwood, and the surrounding areas.
Avninder was born in Canada and moved with her family to India when she was six years old. Educated in India, she became a schoolteacher before returning to Ontario in 2003.
In 2008, Avi was greatly inspired and awakened to her spiritual journey when she found one of Master Zhi Gang Sha’s books, Soul Wisdom, and instantly experienced the opening of her spiritual channels.
When she became a student of Master Sha in 2009, he introduced her to Guan Yin, the goddess of compassion, with whom she felt an immediate and deep soul connection. Avi now teaches weekly online classes focused on chanting the Greatest Compassion Mantra of Guan Yin.
Avi is passionate about empowering women around the world through her online workshops and events. She shares her own life experiences of abuse and suffering and how she overcame life’s challenges by using Master Sha’s teachings and self-healing techniques. She also found her soulmate through these teachings, Stephen Cowell, who is also a Certified Master Teacher of Tao Academy.
Avi is certified by Tao Academy as a Master Teacher, Guan Yin Lineage Holder, Soul Practitioner, Soul Teacher, Tao Calligraphy Practitioner, Tao Calligraphy Master Practitioner, Tao Dance Practitioner, and Da Tao Soul Song/Soul Dance Practitioner.
