Janet Potts
Janet Potts is a Licensed Tao Calligraphy Field Level 1 Master Teacher and Practitioner, trained by Master Zhi Gang Sha. Janet has been a physical therapist for 34 years and has a private practice in Fort Collins, Colorado, specializing in chronic pain. She is committed to lifelong personal and professional growth and has been a spiritual seeker since her teenage years. In addition to her unique bodywork techniques and perceptual skills, she is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered, biological approach to trauma resolution.
Janet bridges the science of medicine with her patient’s inner experience to create a unique path to wellness and spiritual connectedness. In her book Healing from the Voice Within, she presents Body Conscious Dialogue, a specific step-by step-process which enhances the understanding and experience of the physical body, and its interconnections to the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
Throughout her professional career, Janet has looked for the newest teachings or modalities to serve her clients and to find the most effective relief for their pain and suffering. Soul Power was the next modality for Janet. She learned, through Master Sha’s teachings, that the root cause of success and failure in all aspects of life is the result of negative information or messages. He emphasized and demonstrated the importance of the soul in health. Through her participation in retreats and workshops with Master Sha, she realized the effectiveness of his sacred wisdom and practical techniques. Through his teachings, she is now helping others to sustain better health, as well as advance on their soul’s journey.
Janet is a Da Bei Zhou lineage holder, a Tao Calligraphy Master Practitioner and is honored to be part of the Soul Mind Body Science System/Tao Science team, (working to bring the unification of science and spirituality to humanity). Her patients and colleagues know Janet for her compassionate devotion to relieving the suffering of others.
