Laurie Omuro-Yamamoto
Laurie Omuro-Yamamoto became a Certified Master Teacher of Tao Academy in May 2015. She is also most honored and grateful to be a certified Tao Calligraphy Practitioner and Teacher.
Laurie holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, a Master’s in School Counseling and Guidance, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She is currently a licensed psychologist in the state of Hawaii.
In 2008, Laurie first saw Master Sha at a workshop he held on Hawaii Island. She was fascinated with the depth and breadth of Master Sha’s teachings and wisdom and was greatly moved by his great love, compassion, and tireless unconditional service.
Since that event, Laurie has been trained by Master Zhi Gang Sha, his Certified Master Teachers, and his advanced students. She has witnessed family members and others positively transform physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. She has experienced and observed accelerated rates of transformation in herself, her clients. and students who have applied Master Sha’s teachings and practical techniques.
Laurie, along with her mother Annette Omuro, sister Chiemi Ban, and Malia Davidson, lead various Soulfulness and Wellness workshops in Maui County. As a Certified Tao Calligraphy Teacher, Laurie also teaches various Tao Calligraphy Classes and workshops and is authorized to sell her Tao Calligraphy to assist others on their journey towards happiness and health.
