Oliver Giessbach
Oliver Giessbach is a Licensed Tao Calligraphy Field Level 1 Master Teacher and Practitioner of the Tao Academy since 2015. He has a professional background as a doctor of Western medicine and is a Reiki Master. It was always his deep desire to help others to become happier and healthier. Even during his medical studies, it was his profound conviction that Western medicine, focusing mainly on body and mind, was missing an essential part in understanding and healing a human being.
He became interested in alternative medicine, acupuncture, and homeopathy. In his search for a more holistic approach to well-being and happiness, he also discovered spirituality and deeply engaged himself with the worldwide humanitarian network of Mata Amritanandamayi, also called Amma or “The Hugging Saint.” In 1998, during his career as a medical doctor, Oliver experienced a severe medical health condition himself that forced him to abandon his medical career,
As Western medicine could not offer a cure for his illness, he intensified his search for a more holistic approach to well-being. In 2010 he met Master Zhi Gang Sha. He instantly felt a deep connection to Master Sha and appreciated Master Sha’s teachings of the power of soul, soulfulness, and “soul over matter.” As his health and well-being improved, Oliver became a student of Master Sha and the Tao Academy.
He is a Certified Soul Mind Body Alignment Practitioner, Tao Source Calligraphy Practitioner, and Certified Master Teacher. His professional background and personal experience combined with the profound wisdom transmitted by Master Sha allow him to empower others to become happier and healthier, helping them to connect to their souls and inner potential, allowing them to experience well-being, vitality, joy, and a life of soulfulness.
