Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha is a Tao Grandmaster, globally-known spiritual teacher, and 11 x New York Times bestselling author. He is the prolific creator of different Tao Technologies, and a renowned award-winning spiritual innovator.
Master Sha is a Grandmaster of many ancient Eastern arts (including Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Feng Shui, and Chinese Calligraphy) and holds an MD in Western Medicine from China. He is also a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and was formerly immensely sought after as a TCM doctor in China. As a 373rd lineage holder of Peng Zu (one of most renowned Taoist saints, aka Chinese Longevity Star), Master Sha was initiated into an ancient spiritual tradition that has been kept alive for more than 5,000 years.

Dr. and Master Sha has an MD degree in Western Medicine from China and is also a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. In 1983, He received an MD from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and was certified as an acupuncturist and herbalist in 1986 by the World Health Organization’s Institute of International Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, China. He then proceeded to teach acupuncture, tai chi, and qi gong to foreign physicians.
In 1988, he was in the Philippines to complete a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, where word of his skill as an acupuncturist spread and he treated numerous VIPs while also offering a street clinic for the poor. Master Sha and his Tao transformative practices have been featured in a public television documentary, and are the subject of the full-length film Soul Masters: Dr. Sha and Dr Guo.
Within the invention of Tao Technology, Master Sha has combined the essence of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine with ancient wisdom, to help and empower humanity.
Master Sha is the sole lineage holder of Yi Bi Zi calligraphy writing, and was appointed to the position of National Chinese Calligrapher Master by the State Ethnic Academy of Painting in 2016 (this is one of the highest honors a calligrapher can receive in China) after he created Tao Calligraphy. Professor Li Qi Yun was the previous lineage holder og Yi Bi Zi, who had received this lineage from the teacher in the royal court of the last emperor of China.
At the age of 4, Master Sha already had a profound spiritual connection with Kuan Yin (the renowned Buddha of Compassion) and learned the ancient 87-line Da Bei Zhou Mantra (Greatest Compassion Mantra). Millions of people all over the world honor Kuan Yin and chant the Da Bei Zhou Mantra to receive blessings and achieve enlightenment.
In 2002, the 372nd Peng Zu Lineage Holder named Master Sha his sole successor. Peng Zu is one of the most renowned saints in the ancient Tao tradition, and is venerated as the Chinese Longevity Star. Peng Zu lineage holds the ancient sacred secrets to longevity and rejuvenation.
From a very young age, Master Sha has been trained and initiated in several of the ancient Eastern arts and spiritual traditions.
Master Sha’s deep love for humanity and mother earth led him to create the Love Peace Harmony Foundation, non-profit organization. His humanitarian efforts have received worldwide recognition, and in 2006 he was awarded the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission Award for promoting world peace.
